Maneuver Training Center, Ind., brings nearly 10 years of experience to the
19th Chemical, Biological, Nuclear, Radiological and high-yield Explosive
Enhanced Response Force Package, an emergency response organization that
trains to contend with nuclear, chemical or biological incidents.

21, 2011, after being dropped off from a CH-47 Chinook helicopter. The Fort
Stewart, Ga.-based military policemen provided medical care and relief
supplies to civilians as part of Vibrant Response 12, a U.S. Northern Command
field training exercise conducted by U.S. Army North.

Operation Lone Star brings free healthcare to valley

as Operation Lone Star, is an annual mission that provides free medical

disasters or emergencies.

California Guard CERFP first to be transported by military air

Air Force Tech. Sgt. Bart Panighetti, an air cargo specialist from the 146th
Airlift Wing, California Air National Guard, detaches a trailer loaded on a
C-17 Globemaster III military transport aircraft in Volk Field, Wis., July 9,
2011, for Patriot Exercise 2011. The C-17 had just transported a Chemical,
Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and high-yield Explosive Enhanced Response
Force Package from California to Wisconsin. The 9th CERFP, of the California
National Guard, was the first team transported entirely by military aircraft
as part of Patriot, an international large-scale emergency response training
exercise.

John Norris, a tactical air control party member assigned to the 193rd Special Operations Wing, Pennsylvania National Guard, is named Air National Guard Noncommissioned Officer of the Year for 2011. The award was presented at the Outstanding Soldiers and Airmen of the Year banquet in Arlington, Va., Aug. 12, 2011. Presenting the award are (left to right) Air Force Gen.
