California National Guard’s 129th Rescue Wing lowered COVID-19 test kits to the deck of the Grand Princess cruise ship off the coast of California March 5, 2020. A year later, the National Guard continues to respond to the pandemic in 50 states, three territories and the District of Columbia.

Nevada Air Guard continues firefighting mission

The Guard members will supplement CAL FIRE and Cal Guard’s Joint Task Force Rattlesnake hand crews deployed to key locations such as the Carmel Fire, Jones Fire, Hills Fire and others throughout the state.
