Vermont National Guard teaches winter mountain skills

Soldiers from the 10th Mountain Division train on cold weather tactics with subject matter experts from the 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Mountain) as part of the annual Mountain Legacy event, Camp Ethan Allen Training Site, Jericho, Vt., Feb. 18-20, 2021. The Mountain Legacy program rotates yearly between Vermont and Colorado.

Vermont National Guard delivers 2nd vaccine doses

Recipients of the second dose commonly experience mild flu-like symptoms including soreness and mild fever. LaPierre is a fueler with the Vermont National Guard's 186th Brigade Support Battalion. Davis is a registered nurse and the officer in charge of immunizations for the Vermont Air National Guard's 158th Medical Group.

1st CONG infantry company since WWII deploys to Middle East

U.S. Army National Guard Soldiers with Attack Company, 1st Battalion, 157th Infantry Regiment, Colorado Army National Guard, spend more than a week in Guernsey, Wyoming, in preparation for a deployment, Oct. 15-25, 2020. Throughout the week the Soldiers ran lanes multiple times, qualified on individual weapon systems and completed situational training exercise lanes that consisted of ambushes.

Vermont National Guard rolls out 1st doses of COVID vaccine
