Retired pararescueman partners with Guardian Angels for rescue

Wayt's team rescued a family of four on Aug. 15, 2020, at Beluga Point off the Seward Highway. When one of his team members was injured during the rescue, a 176th Wing HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter carrying pararescuemen launched from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and extracted the injured firefighter.
