Jerome Dominguez protects members of the 105th Security Forces Squadron who are deployed to Joint Base Balad, Iraq, with the 532nd Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron. Dominguez, who was a security forces member with the 105th SFS, sacrificed his life during the 9/11 attacks at the World Trade Center to help others.

confronted by role-playing victims of a simulated nuclear detonation Aug. 17,
2011, during Vibrant Response 12. The victims were asking for food, water and
shelter. The large exercise conducted by U.S. Army North included almost
8,000 military and civilian personnel. It was held at Indiana's Muscatatuck
Urban Training Complex.

Connecticut Guard members rescue Irene-stranded residents

Company prepare for possible duty in response to Hurricane Irene in Onancock

Local first responders were called to a house fire after a tree downed by
Hurricane Irene caused power lines to arc electricity through a surge
protector inside the home. Residents were home and were able to exit the
house to safety.
