Louisiana Soldiers provide medical training to Iraqi army

Louisiana Army National Guardsman Staff Sgt. Adam Sanchez of Pineville, La., has a member of the 11th Iraqi Army Engineer Regiment apply an improvised tourniquet during first aid training on May 13. Combat medics from the 225th Engineer Brigade of Pineville, La., taught members of the 11th Iraqi Army Engineer Regiment life-saving skills to include basic first aid, litter carry procedures, dressing a wound and how to apply a tourniquet.
