Connecticut Air National Guard Tech Sgt. Guard Charges Forward with Electric Vehicle Conversion

As part of the National Guard’s larger initiative to replace its non-tactical vehicle fleet with hybrid or electric vehicles, the Colorado Army National Guard’s environmental quality program helped the COARNG replace five of its non-tactical fleet with electric vehicles and one plug-in hybrid from 2019-2020, reducing gas and maintenance costs by $2,000 per vehicle.

UTNG KC-135 modernizing for the future
