SD Guard Soldiers perform key mission in East Africa

U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the East Africa Response Force in support of the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa and French soldiers assigned to the 5th Overseas Intermarines Regiment participate in a live-fire joint artillery training event at the Djiboutian Range Complex, Djibouti, Feb. 2, 2021. U.S. and French forces took turns firing their weapons systems and demonstrating their capabilities.

Hien Nguyen, 730th Area Support Medical Company, South Dakota Army National Guard, vaccinates an Oglala Sioux Tribe member during a COVID-19 vaccination and health fair event in in Kyle, S.D., April 16, 2021. The 730th provided medical personnel to assist with administering COVID-19 vaccinations for members of the OST and to provide administrative support.
