New Army Guard company, battalion headquarters activated at NGB

The activation of the company and battalion brings administrative and related battalion-level responsibilities for the Army Guard directorate within the NGB, where previously those items fell to the Military District of Washington. The MDW now serves as the brigade-level headquarters for those actions.

Minnesota Guard, Navy, Coast Guard partner for dive training

The U.S. Navy is working alongside the U.S. Coast Guard to host an annual ice dive training course on Camp Ripley in Minnesota Jan. 29-Feb. 10, 2022. The course provides real-world ice and cold weather dive training in arctic conditions.
