New York Guard Airmen play in multi-service softball tournament sponsored by New York Mets

New York Air National Guard 2nd Lt. Tabitha Burns, a member of the 106th Rescue Wing based at F.S. Arizona Guard Civil Support Team provides support to first responders

Arizona Army National Guard Sgt. Andrew Marxman, a survey team member for the 91st Civil Support Team, uses chemical detection paper to determine the basic chemical hazard of the substance during an exercise simulating a campus shooting and hazardous material release. The M-256A1 Chemical Detection Kit can be used to determine if the substance is a blood, nerve or blister agent.

Oklahoma National Guard helicopter helps feed more than 100 cows stranded by flooding

Members of Companies B and C, 2nd Battalion, 149th General Aviation Support Battalion, Oklahoma Army National Guard, and local farm and ranch hands from Muskogee County load a 1,200-pound round bale of hay aboard a CH-47 Chinook helicopter. The Chinook's crew delivered a total of 14 bales weighing more than 14,000 pounds and 700 pounds of feed to the stranded cattle.

Video interviews with more than 600 New York veterans of World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Cold War can now be viewed online by going to the New York State Military Museum's YouTube Channel. The museum, which is run by the New York State Division of Military and Naval Affairs, has been collecting video interviews since 2000.
