Texas Guard members support Emergency Network Tracking for disasters

The scenario allowed the National Guard and civilian authorities to work together while also creating a training video product for use once the new tracking system goes online June 1.

South Carolina National Guard prepares for hurricane season

South Carolina is a hurricane state that has felt the impacts of hurricanes and state leaders want to ensure the public plans ahead to be ready should they be impacted during the 2016 hurricane season, which begins June 1 and runs until Nov 30.

Sergeant 1st Class William Hughes is the 2016 National Guard Bureau Inspector General Soldier of the Year winner.  Hughes is assigned to the Joint Force Headquarters, Florida National Guard, and was one of four Soldiers from across the Army National Guard who competed for the top spot.

Texas Guard teams up with other agencies to rescue more than 200 from floods
