West Virginia Guard medic in right place to save wreck victim

Wash. Guard unit conducts unique airlift prior to training

Department of Defense environmental awards announced

Rita McCarty has served as the Mississippi Army National Guard Cultural Resource Manager for 13 years. She was recognized by MSARNG Chief of Staff Col. Amos Parker with the Mississippi Meritorious Civilian Service Ribbon, the highest honor awarded to a civilian employee of the MSARNG. The Defense Department cited her program for an award.

Anthony Carrelli. Kauffman won the Department of the Army Inspector General (DAIG) of the year competition for 2018.

Alaska Army Guard members save four after plane crash

A single-engine Piper PA-32 Cherokee Six crash-landed about 35 miles northeast of Bethel, April 11, 2019. Soldiers with the Alaska Army National Guard's 207th Aviation Battalion rescued the four survivors and transported them to Bethel, a coastal community in western Alaska that sits along the Kuskokwim River, inside the Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge.
