N.Y. National Guard leaders honor World War II vets on D-Day

Kentucky Air Guard to airdrop troops for 75th D-Day event

Two Kentucky C-130s will airdrop U.S. Army paratroopers over Normandy on June 9 as part of the commemoration. Ohio National Guard veterans remember D-Day

Oklahoma, Kansas Guard support communities after storms

Oklahoma Army National Guard Soldiers from Company B, 1st Battalion, 279th Infantry Regiment, stack sandbags in order to slow the spread of flood waters in Sandy Parks, Oklahoma. Oklahoma Army National Guard Soldiers assisted several Oklahoma communities following record rain fall and numerous tornados. The Guard members' assistance included swift water rescue, filling and distributing sandbags and delivering purified, potable water.
