Cameroon: National Guard joins 36 nations in Africa's largest communications exercise

National Guard members from two states and the District of Columbia are participating in the annual communications exercise sponsored by U.S. Africa Command, which focuses on the interoperability of equipment and information sharing among military representatives throughout the African Union and partner nations.

"Swamp Fox" F-16 Fighting Falcons, their pilots, and support personnel began their air expeditionary force deployment in early April to take over the air tasking order and provide close air support for troops on the ground in Afghanistan.
