173rd Fighter Wing dedicates F-15 flagship in honor of WWII hero

The vertical tail of the new 173rd Fighter Wing flagship bears an image of Lt. David R. Kingsley, who posthumously received the Medal of Honor for heroism during World War II. Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls, Ore., was named after the Oregon native in 1957, and the paint scheme on this aircraft pays homage to his memory.

NY Air Guard customizes shipping boxes for 25-foot-long skis

Maryland Guard reveals new brand, demonstrates capabilities

The Maryland National Guard’s new logo depicts its most essential Army and Air Force aviation assets, a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter and A-10 Thunderbolt.The green background represents the U.S. Army and the blue soldering lines, often found on circuit boards, signify the Air Force’s cyber and intelligence capabilities. The colors of the Maryland flag are embedded in the state’s shape with a “Minuteman” standing overwatch to symbolize the “Always Ready, Always There” presence of the MDNG since 1634.
