Airman 1st Class Mitchell Smith, a command post controller, and Tech. Sgt. Kelly Corrow, theater aerospace command and control specialist, both of the 103rd Air and Space Operations Group of the Connecticut Air National Guard, provide command and control support during a recent exercise. A1C Smith was deployed to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., where he coordinated airlift and air refueling missions in support of the relief efforts in and over Haiti.

Command visit readies Wyoming Soldiers for demobilization

Senior Master Sgt. Dennis Karl, a C-130 Hercules flight engineer, and 1st Lt.Casey Fallon, a C-130 co-pilot, were serving on their scheduled Coronet Oak rotation with the 35th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron at Mu?iz Air National Guard Base, Puerto Rico when an alert was issued after the earthquake in Haiti. Both Airmen are Guardsmen with the 179th Airlift Wing at Mansfield, Ohio. Their Jan. 22, 2010 flight was their sixth mission in support of Operation Unified Response.
