Illinois Guard veterans recall Korean War

Retired Lt. Col. Don Sneed of the Illinois National Guard recalls his time in Korea in 1952. The official opening of the Department of Defense's 60th Anniversary Commemoration of the Korean War was held at the Pentagon June 24, 2010. The event will mark the anniversary of the start of the three-year conflict on the Korean Peninsula and honor the service and sacrifice of the veterans of this war and their families. Honored veterans, senior DoD dignitaries, members of congress, and representatives of the allied nations will join us in observing this important day.

North Dakota Guardsmen return from Haiti

Mississippi Guard records 100 flights in response to oil spill

The 130th Airlift Wing out of Clarksburg, W. Va., flew the Reconnaissance Cargo - 26B (RC-26B) aircraft over Indiana June 11, to give aerial footage of flood damage to the Indiana National Guard to be made available for the public. The live footage will provide details about washed out roads, damage to infrastructure and other information that Indiana may have lacked.

Hawaiian brothers manage fitness operations during deployment
