Hawaii Air Guard wraps up temporary deployment to Japan

U.S Air Force Raptors from the 199th Fighter Squadron fly alongside a USAF KC-135 Stratotanker from the 909th Air Refueling Squadron during fifth-generation fighter training near Mount Fuji, Japan, April 1, 2021. The F-22 Raptors were operating out of Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, to support the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command’s dynamic force employment concept.

A 15th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief marshals a C-17 Globemaster III March 31, 2020, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The aircraft returned to Oahu after transporting prematurely born twins from Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, to Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, for care at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The C-17 was operated by a Hawaii Air National Guard aircrew from the 204th Airlift Squadron, augmented with a 15th Wing pilot from the 535th Airlift Squadron.
