Kansas Guard, Armenian Partner Complete Eagle Partner Exercise

Soldiers from the Kansas National Guard and 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Task Force Mountain, hold a closing ceremony for Eagle Partner 2023 Sept. 20, 2023, in Armenia. The exercise between U.S. Army Europe and Africa and Armenian forces aimed to fortify the alliance with Armenia while bolstering interoperability and readiness via specialized peacekeeping operations training.

Marci Solander, Kansas National Guard State Partnership Program director, right, in a virtual SPP exchange Sept. 8-10 with students attending the Senior Leaders Course in the Republic of Armenia. The course was conducted at the Armenian Ministry of Defense’s National Defense Research University, the Armenian equivalent of the U.S. Army War College.
