Virginia Guard Soldiers, Airmen Train on Emergency Response

Virginia National Guard Soldiers and Airmen assigned to the Richmond-Based 34th Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High-Yield Explosive Enhanced Response Force Package conduct a collective training exercise Jan. 6, 2024, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia. The exercise enabled new personnel to train on the basics of incident management and emergency response.

Maine, NH, Rhode Island Guardsmen Train on Domestic Response

The exercise included setting up a medical field site, searching and rescuing casualties and hoisting them via helicopter for treatment.
Nevada, Arizona Guard train for hazardous situations

It was part of an inspection conducted by the Joint Interagency Training and Education Center every two years to measure the team’s ability to respond to a disaster.
