Idaho Army National Guard and Royal Thai Army work together

Idaho Army National Guard Capt. A.J. Edwards, 2-116th Combined Arms Battalion plans officer, works to complete mission analysis as part of the military decision-making process with Royal Thai Army Capt. The two are part of the more than 500 U.S. Army, Army National Guard and Royal Thai Army soldiers participating in Hanuman Guardian 2018, a bilateral exercise that strengthens capability and builds interoperability between U.S. and Royal Thai Army forces.

More than 150 U.S. Army and Army National Guard Soldiers and 300 Royal Thai Army soldiers participated in Hanuman Guardian 2018’s opening ceremony Aug. 20, 2018, at the Royal Thai Army’s Cavalry Center in Thailand’s Saraburi province. Hanuman Guardian is an 11-day bilateral army-to-army exercise that strengthens capability and builds interoperability between U.S. and Royal Thai Army forces.
