Air Force Staff Sgt. Trisha Smeenk, a Public Affairs journalist with the South Dakota Air National Guard's 114th Fighter Wing was chosen as the 2012 Miss Rodeo USA at the International Finals Rodeo held in Oklahoma City, Okla. Jan. 15, 2012. Smeenk has been a member of the South Dakota Air National Guard for seven years and looks forward to continuing her career with the unit after her reign as Miss Rodeo USA concludes in January 2013.
