Guardsmen selected for Army All-American Bowl

ARLINGTON, Va. - Twenty-three Army National Guard Soldiers from around the country have been selected to attend the Army All-American Bowl Jan. 3 in San Antonio, Texas, where they will join with active and Reserve Army Soldiers to support our nation's youth.

This is the ninth annual game, which consists of 90 of the nation's top high school football players. The athletes will compete in a classic East vs. West challenge.

The game will be broadcast at noon CST from the Alamodome on NBC.

Below is a list of the selected Soldiers, who are veterans of Operations Iraq Freedom or Enduring Freedom, exhibit good moral character and are a recipient of the Silver Star, Bronze Star with "V" device or the Purple Heart or higher medal:
