Texas Airmen among those in Chile for exchanges

She is one of nearly 60 U.S. Airmen participating in subject matter expert exchanges with Chilean air force counterparts, and involved in hosting static displays of the C-130 Hercules and F-16 Fighting Falcon during the FIDAE Air Show in Santiago, March 25 through 30. The exchanges, conducted regularly throughout the year, involve U.S. Airmen sharing best practices and procedures to build partnerships and promote interoperability with partner-nations throughout South America, Central America and the Caribbean.

Pennsylvania Army Guard upgrades to latest version of the M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle

An M2A2 ODS-SA Bradley Fighting Vehicle, the latest addition to the Pennsylvania Army National Guard’s armored vehicle fleet, sits on display during an unveiling ceremony for the vehicle at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pa. The upgraded Bradley Fighting Vehicle features embedded training and diagnostic systems, programmable displays, a thermal view for the driver, inertial navigation and upgraded armor protection. Additionally, the new vehicles offer greater combat capabilities, are safer to operate and easier to maintain than former variants, said officials.
