Polish medical team, Illinois Guard side-by-side in COVID-19 response

Guard helps ensure seniors stay healthy in COVID-19 pandemic

In a White House ceremony April 30, 2020, Air Force Gen. Joseph Lengyel, chief of the National Guard Bureau, says the National Guard has helped ensure older Americans remain healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Guard members have disinfected and sanitized nursing homes and senior care facilities across the nation.
