Texas Guard support Louisiana neighbors and battle buddies in need

Texas Army National Guard Cadet David Williams, 149th Attack-Reconnaissance Battalion, and a current resident of Baton Rouge in Houston collected supplies to bring to Louisiana Guardsmen who lost their homes to the recent flooding in Baton Rouge, August 21, 2016. Texas Guardsmen from the unit collected more than 20 bags of clothes, appliances, tools, diapers, baby formula and food for the victims of the natural disaster and transported them more than 250 miles for the guardsmen and their families.

South Carolina National Guard shares importance of reserve force with Colombian leaders

Nevada National Guard and Tonga hold largest exchange in partnership history

The Nevada Guard-Tonga exchange last week included three separate exchanges: search and rescue, agricultural security and equipment maintenance. It was the largest overall exchange since the partnership formed in 2014.

Tennessee National Guard serves with state partner Bulgaria

Tennessee National Guard Soldiers and Airmen were on rotations to complete thier portions of projects as part of Operation Resolute Castle 16, an ongoing operation of military construction to build up Eastern European base infrastructure and help strengthen ties between Tennessee's state partnership with Bulgaria.

Massachusetts Guard fighter pilot continues family legacy

Maj. Ashley Rolfe is the first female fighter pilot for the Air National Guard’s 104th Fighter Wing. Rolfe is an Air Force Academy graduate and combat veteran who has served in the Air Force for eleven years. Rolfe became an Air Force pilot after growing up as an Air Force “Brat” dependent, following her dad and granddad’s footsteps carrying on the family legacy. Rolfe’s swearing in ceremony took place at Barnes Air National Guard Base, July 26, 2016.
