Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona Division and California Baptist University (CBU) are collaborating to drive technological advancement and foster academic growth through an Education Partnership Agreement (EPA) signed during a ceremony at the university Aug. 29, 2023, in Riverside, Calif.

NSWC Corona Division is working with CBU’s College of Engineering to create new avenues for collaboration and knowledge exchange, seeking to advance research and development in critical areas such as cybersecurity, data analytics, and emerging technologies. The partnership will combine the expertise and resources of both institutions to propel research and educational opportunities in support of national defense. CBU students and faculty have the opportunity to collaborate with scientists and engineers on cutting-edge research projects, fostering an environment of technological innovation and discovery. Joint research projects that explore technological solutions to enhance national security, optimize defense systems, and address emerging challenges are on the list of opportunities that can exist within this collaboration.

NSWC Corona Division has provided analysis and assessment for the Navy since 1964. With experience in gauging the Navy’s warfighting capability, NSWC Corona is a leader in NAVSEA data analytics. Corona utilizes networked data environments, data and visualization, and measurement technology to bridge the Navy’s data silos, enabling informed decision-making for the warfighter.
