Parade of 1st Responders honors COVID-fighting housing residents
U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz
May 22, 2020 | 1:00
A parade of first responders, which included two fire vehicles from U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Sembach and Kaiserslautern East, rolled through the Vogelweh military housing community Friday, May 22, 2020. Much like the Air Force Thunderbirds and Navy Blue Angels flyovers, the parade is one of a few conducted in military housing communities throughout the area to show solidarity with and salute those families who have been bunkered in at home, social distancing from Coronavirus, and doing their part to #GetAheadoftheSpread and #KilltheVirusRP.
