The counter improvised explosive device crucible station previously known as John Quick trail is renamed the Corporal Larry D. Harris Jr. trail in honor of Corporal Larry D. Harris Jr. who was awarded the Silver Star posthumously for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action against the enemy while serving as Fire Team Leader, 3rd Squad, 81 Millimeter Mortar Platoon, Weapons Company, Third Battalion, First Marines, Regimental Combat Team 7, First Marine Division, First
