9th Mission Support Command, 1984th U.S. Army Hospital's Behavioral Health Team share their knowledge and expertise in regards to behavioral and mental health with the Samoa Victims Support Group in Apia, Samoa. Behavioral and mental well-being are just as medically important as physical well-being. These two elements are pertinent to knowing the scope of how people cope with day-to-day life as well as traumatic life experiences. Providing service like this for the SVSG allows the soldiers to understand the cultural beliefs of others.
