104th Fighter Wing Donates F-15C to New England Air Museum
July 23, 2024
Col. Michael Glass, 104th Fighter Wing Operations Group commander, flew F-15C aircraft 85-101 from Barnes Air National Guard Base, Westfield, Massachusetts, to Bradley Air National Guard Base, East Granby, Connecticut, for its final flight before being retired and donated to the New England Air Museum, July 22, 2024. Donating the F15 to the museum ensures the preservation of its history and air superiority since 1979.

Pennsylvania Air Guard Joins Operation Noble Defender

Under the direction of the North American Aerospace Defense Command , F-15s assigned to the Massachusetts Air National Guard, CF-18s assigned to the Royal Canadian Air Force, and a KC-135 assigned to the Maine Air National Guard fly in formation behind a KC-135 assigned to the Pennsylvania Air National Guard during air defense Operation Noble Defender Oct. 27, 2022.  The exercise validates the command’s capability to defend Canada and the United States.
