New York Army Guard Aviators Complete Kuwait Mission

Two U.S. Army UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters assigned to the New York Army National Guard's 3rd Battalion, 142nd Aviation Regiment, Assault Helicopter Battalion, attached to the 36th Combat Aviation Brigade, conduct deck landings on the USS Lewis B. Puller in the Persian Gulf Nov. 10, 2022. The battalion deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Spartan Shield as a component of the 36th Combat Aviation Brigade of the Texas Army National Guard.

The 1067th Transportation Company, 228th Transportation Battalion, 213th Regional Support Group, Pennsylvania Army National Guard, conducting loading operations with the Montana Army National Guard, Combined Arms Battalion, 1-163rd Cavalry Regiment, at Camp Buehring, Kuwait. They shaved their heads in support of Staff Sgt. Brandon Stafford's sister, who was going through chemotherapy and radiation treatment after having a brain tumor removed.
