Alaska Guard Assists Juneau Following Glacial Flooding

The Alaska National Guard is assisting with flood recovery and cleanup after an outburst flood from the Mendenhall Glacier Aug. 6, 2024, caused major flooding in the Mendenhall Glacier Basin. Multiple homes and roads were inundated.
