New York Air Guard’s 109th Airlift Wing Tests new LC-130 Engine

Master Sgt. Christopher Dumond, a flight engineer in the 109th Airlift Wing's 139th Airlift Squadron, conducts preflight maintenance checks on an LC-130H ski equipped aircraft with newly overhauled NP2000 T56-15A (3.5 modified) engines. The test flight was from Stratton Air National Guard Base in Scotia, New York, Oct. 11, 2022.

109th AW joins advanced battle management systems exercise

Elements of the 109th Airlift wing participate in a joint exercise at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas demonstrating the capability to establish and land at an austere landing area, secured by the 321st Contingency Response Squadron, carrying ordinance for rearming F-16 fighter jets from the 140th fighter wing (Buckley AFB).
