Ohio Guard members build bridges with language at food bank

Spcs. Gabriel Kirk, left, and Javier Roman, assigned to the Ohio National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 134th Field Artillery Regiment, at the Mid-Ohio Foodbank in Grove City, Ohio. Kirk, a chaplain assistant, and Roman, a fire control specialist, have been serving as interpreters for the many Spanish-speaking families relying on the food bank during the COVID-19 pandemic.
