Georgia Guard unit makes history with unique mission

Glenn Cook, Foxtrot Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Artillery Regiment. Cook’s company was responsible for supporting Bravo Battery during field testing of the new M109a7 Paladin.

235th Air Traffic Control Squadron stands up in Germany

Members of the 235th and 260th Air Traffic Controller Squadrons (ATCS) receive generator training from U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Jeffrey Van Joolen, in Ramstein, Germany, June. 3rd, 2019. The North Carolina Air National Guard, along with New Hampshire and Maine Air National Guard, flew to Ramstein Air Base, Germany, to work with active duty 1st Combat Communications Squadron. The Air National Guard units assisted in training the active duty unit with set-up, use, and tear-down of a mobile tower and deployable tactical air navigation system.
