Maryland National Guard unit retrogrades aviation equipment worth $260 million

Soldiers, from 1100th Theater Aviation Sustainment Maintenance Group, a Maryland National Guard unit from Edgewood, Maryland, retrograde 16 airframes and $260 million in Class IX equipment from theater during their nine-month deployment in Afghanistan.

Guard engineers from Louisiana and Oregon in Kuwait complete much-needed housing project

The project was part of an effort to expand housing units for Soldiers assigned to Camp Arifjan. The base has seen its numbers increase with the drawdown in Afghanistan and the beginning of Operation Inherent Resolve in Iraq.
