Afghanistan: National Guard Soldiers give school supplies, hope to Afghan children

A massive donation of 600 school supply boxes was donated to the Afghan children as part of an project through the annual National Guard Youth Symposium held in Louisville, Ky., earlier this year. Army National Guard Sgt. Heather Carrier and Sgt. Jerred Stevens coordinated with people they knew back in their home communities to collect the supplies.
