Wisconsin National Guard senior leaders join Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers at a deployment sendoff ceremony for the 732nd Combat Support Sustainment Battalion’s Headquarters and Headquarters Company Nov. 30, 2024, at Tomah High School in Tomah, Wisconsin. Following pre-mobilization training, the Guardsmen will deploy to the U.S. Central Command area of operations to synchronize and control logistics operations supporting Operation Inherent Resolve.

More than 300 Wisconsin Army National Guard Soldiers board charter flights Sept. 28, 2024, at Volk Field Air National Guard Base, Camp Douglas, Wis., following a formal sendoff ceremony. The Soldiers, part of the 1st Battalion, 128th Infantry Regiment, the 1st Battalion, 120th Field Artillery Regiment, the 132nd Brigade Support Battalion and the 457th Chemical Company, are deploying to U.S. Central Command in Southwest Asia and U.S. Africa Command, Horn of Africa.

National Guard Demonstrates Capabilities During African Lion

Key leadership from the Idaho National Guard and several other U.S. states joined partner nations in Morocco June 30, 2022, to see the capabilities of multinational armies working together in a combined arms live-fire mission. During the exercise, Soldiers from Idaho's 1st Battalion of the 148th Field Artillery Regiment fired M795 high explosive rounds from the M109A6 howitzers as Soldiers with the Oregon, Utah and Wisconsin Army National Guard, a Marine Corps Reserve unit based in California and active-duty Soldiers from Fort Hood, Texas, provided ground cover.
Idaho National Guard Participates in African Lion Exercise
