Indiana Guardmembers share poultry knowledge in Afghanistan

An Afghan man waits in line for chickens at Combat Outpost Terezayi, Khowst province, Feb. 2, 2011. The chickens were distributed to local farmers who attended a poultry management class sponsored by the Afghan Director of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock. Soldiers from the Indiana National Guard's 3-19th Agribusiness Development Team, attached to the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, helped facilitate the training.
