Afghanistan: Indiana Guard members train farmers in Khowst

Farmers from the Mandozai district of Khowst province learn about nutrition and animal care during a class at the Mandozai district center Dec. 1, 2011. This was class was just one of many sponsored by the Indiana National Guard's 4-19th Agribusiness Development Team, which has brought animal husbandry training to more than 400 farmers in the province.

KOSOVO: Multiple National Guard, Reserve units assume responsibility for safety, security in Kosovo

At the ceremony, official responsibility for Multinational Battle Group East operations passed from Kosovo Forces 14 to KFOR 15, led by the Wisconsin Army National Guard's 157th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade. The 157th MEB is joined by 13 other National Guard units and one Army Reserve unit.

Dooley and Sanganoo, along with the rest of soldiers from 1-194 AR (CAB), are part of the Minnesota-based 1st Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry "Red Bull" Division, currently deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation New Dawn, the final stage in post-combat operations in Iraq.
