Air National Guard Director visits base to hear from Airmen

Lt. Gen. Stanley E. Clarke III, director of the Air National Guard, coins Master Sgt. Neil Allison for his outstanding performance at the 158th Fighter Wing, Vt., Oct. 17, 2015. Clarke visited Vermont, met with the Airmen and Vermont Air National Guard leadership.

New York Air National Guard's 106th Rescue Wing goes solar for lighting

New York Air National Guard  Staff Sgt. Edwin Laporte and Hector Gomez, both members of the 106th Civil Engineering Squadron of the  106th Rescue Wing, install a solar panel at F.S. Gabreski Air National Guard Base in Westhampton Beach, New York on Sept. 8, 2015. The solar panels are part of a larger plan to reduce energy usage and save money by investing in renewable energy sources on base.

Profession of Arms Center of Excellence training makes its debut

Alaska Air Guard members escort WWII and Korean War vets to Honor Flight

Nine Airmen of the Alaska Air National Guard's 249th Airlift Squadron connected with more than 20 World War II and Korean War veterans, assisting them at Ted Stevens International Airport on Oct. 13, 2015. The Alaska veterans were participants of the Last Frontier Honor Flight, an organization taking them to Washington, D.C., to see for the first time the monuments erected there to honor those who served during those conflicts.
