"This contract award is another example of NAVFAC Marianas' focus on providing facility, engineering and design support to our diverse military customers," said Capt. Peter Lynch, the NAVFAC Marianas commanding officer.

The project involves design and construction of a concrete facility and supporting infrastructure.

When complete, the new GUARNG Readiness Center will be home to Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 294th Infantry Regiment, the 721st Army Band and the 1990th Contingency Contracting Team.

Gen. Donald Goldhorn, the adjutant general of the Guam National Guard.

Work is expected to be completed by January 2012.
