National Guard Bureau chief issues Thanksgiving greeting

By Gen. Frank J. Grass National Guard Bureau

My Fellow Guardsmen,

Pat and I would like to wish our National Guard family a Happy Thanksgiving. Each of you, military and civilians alike, all contribute to make our National Guard the outstanding organization it is today. I want to thank each and every one of you for serving your nation and community as part of the National Guard family. To our Guard members abroad, you are great contributors to our nation’s defense and security. Your service abroad on every continent displays the dynamic and diverse skills and professionalism we have in our National Guard.  We salute you and wish for your safe return home. To those affected by natural disasters, we pray for your speedy recovery. To all others, we hope you are able to share the holiday with your families and loved ones. Happy Thanksgiving!
