MWD Qquail retires from the Air Force
66th Air Base Group
June 14, 2023 | 2:22
The 66th Security Forces Squadron proudly hosted a retirement ceremony at the iconic Fenway Park in Boston for Military Working Dog Qquail.
Qquail, a 10-year-old Belgian Malinois, has dedicated over nine years of active service to both the squadron and the United States Air Force. Throughout her remarkable career, she has protected Hanscom Air Force Base and her country, displaying courage and devotion beyond measure.
As Qquail now embarks on a new chapter of her life, let us take a moment to express our deepest appreciation for her service and sacrifice. She has selflessly put herself in harm's way to protect our freedoms and preserve our way of life. Qquail's legacy will continue to inspire and remind us of the extraordinary contributions our military working dogs make to our nation's security.
