What is Go SLO?

Go SLO stands for Safes, Locks, or Outside the home.

  • Safes: Store firearms in a gun safe or locked cabinet.
  • Locks: Use trigger locks or cable locks.
  • Outside the home: Temporarily store firearms with a trusted person or at a recommended installation.

Fort McCoy Garrison Commander Col. Michael D. Poss provides opening remarks during the Patriot Day Remembrance Ceremony on Sept. 11, 2020, at Veterans Memorial Plaza at the historic Commemorative Area at Fort McCoy, Wis. About 20 people participated in the socially distanced ceremony recalling the 19th anniversary of the attacks. The leaders participating in the ceremony included Poss; Garrison Deputy Commander Lt.
