Michigan National Guard Soldiers from Detachment 1, Company C, 3-238th General Support Aviation Battalion (Air Ambulance Company), Company D, 3-238th GSAB (Aviation Maintenance Company), Company E, 3-238th GSAB (Forward Support Company) and Detachment 2, Company B, 351st Aviation Support Battalion (Aviation Maintenance Company) celebrated with friends and family in Grand Ledge, Mich. during a deployment ceremony. Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Maj. Gen. Paul Rogers, the Adjutant General, inspired Soldiers that this was the equivalent of their Super Bowl.

The units are deploying to the Middle East to provide medical evacuation in support of CENTCOM operations. (Video by Capt. Joe Legros)
