Instincts Kick in for Ramsey When Neighborhood House Ablaze
916th Air Refueling Wing
April 15, 2019 | 2:29
On an early morning in late February, Tech. Sgt. Sierra Ramsey responded to a house fire within her neighborhood saving several lives. Cary Firefighters arrived on scene to extinguish the blaze while local police gathered information from Ramsey and other witnesses. Ramsey’s quick response is a credit to her instincts and the appropriate training from the Air force Reserve. The fire department were able to contain the fire to one unit in the complex, while all of the residents were evacuated safely.
