What is Go SLO?

Go SLO stands for Safes, Locks, or Outside the home.

  • Safes: Store firearms in a gun safe or locked cabinet.
  • Locks: Use trigger locks or cable locks.
  • Outside the home: Temporarily store firearms with a trusted person or at a recommended installation.

Go SLO helps create time and distance between distress and lethal means.

In Memory of Sgt. Mohammed Abdulrahaman

A memorial was held for Sgt. Mohammed Abdulrahaman at Warrior Chapel, Camp Humphreys, South Korea, May 30, 2018. Abdulrahaman served in the U.S. Army as a vertical platoon squad leader in the 643rd Engineer Support Co., 11th Engineer Battalion, 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.

After receiving a cancer diagnosis, Abdulrahaman was reassigned to the Warrior Transition Brigade at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. He passed away May 19, 2018. He was remembered by those who served with him as a highly proficient and motivated Soldier, who was dedicated to the Army and his family.
