New memorial honors crew of Coast Guard Cutter Tampa killed in WWI

Coast Guard members from the modern U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Tampa attended a memorial dedication Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018 at the Tampa Bay History Center that honored the crew of Coast Guard Cutter Tampa killed in WWI. The new memorial, a 10-by-22-foot stained glass mosaic affixed to the center was unveiled and Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn, Coast Guard Adm. Karl Schultz, commander of the Atlantic Area, Sandy Murman, Hillsborough County Commission Chairwoman, U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor and C.J.
